The Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign in Las Vegas, Nevada USA

For a first-time visit to Las Vegas, everyone is looking to make the absolute most out of their Las Vegas adventure. From unique locations to interesting things to do, this ultimate guide will give you 7 amazing ways to make your vacation memorable.

1. Classic Las Vegas Adventure

Everybody loves a classic. And Las Vegas has some of the most classic and iconic locations in America.

And to start, it doesn’t get more classic than a visit to Fremont St. Known to some as “the old strip,” Fremont St. was first paved in 1925, as the downtown area was being developed.

It has come a long way from the mid-1930’s development boom to the Fremont Street Experience that we see today. Featuring the world’s largest video screen, they use their more than 12.5 million LED lights at more than 10 stories high, to put on spectacular light shows every night.

While wandering down this amazing spectacle you will hear some of the areas and countries best musicians from one of three stages. At Fremont St., you get the best of both worlds, classic nostalgia with new world charm.

When one says, “classic Vegas” some can’t help but think “Mob.”  If that’s the case look no further than The Mob Museum.

Built in an old restored postal house, witness a fascinating struggle between old Las Vegas organized crime and law enforcement.

Displaying hundreds of rare artifacts, within immersive storylines and interactive exhibits you get the inside scoop of the continuing battle between Mob and Law.

2. Adrenaline-Fueled Adventures

If the special memory you were looking for, was something of the adrenaline-fueled variety, you can get a few with one stop to The Strat.

There are quite a few options at this unique hotel and casino. For the less faint of heart, you could simply take a ride to the 1,149-foot-tall observation deck of the Skypod.  Here you can take in the breathtaking view or grab a bite to eat.

For a little more excitement get the drop, on the Skyjump. Leap off the 108th floor for an 829′ controlled descent down The Strait tower. Don’t worry, despite the “leap of faith” feeling, no rider has ever been injured or died

If you are a true adrenaline junkie, then check out one (or all three) of The Strats thrill rides.

Big shot shoots guests 160′ in the air at over 45 miles per hour. Or you could dangle from the Skypod and spin for over 3G’s on Insanity.

Finally, X-Scream is a roller coaster ride like no other, teeter-tottering you over the edge of the Skypod at 866′!

3.Natural Adventures

Built into the Nevada desert, the Las Vegas area is chock full of some of the world’s most unique locations. As well as a wide variety of ways to explore them.

It doesn’t get more natural than the Wild West Horseback trail ride. They offer breakfast, lunch, and sunset tours for all experience levels.

Set aside at least 5 hours and wear comfortable shoes as the cowhands lead you through the gorgeous Moapa Valley.

Visit Red Rock Canyon Keystone for some more fantastic scenery. See the Mojave Desert from the safety and comfort of your vehicle while driving down the 13-mile Scenic Drive.

In addition to overlooks and picnic areas, you will also have access to dozens of day hikes and trails.

4. Naturally Fast Adventures

Want to see nature, but at a slightly faster pace? Then look no further than a Las Vegas Mini Baja Dune Buggy Chase!

Not for the faint of heart, drive a buggy over intense sand dunes like you’ve just robbed the strip! Dash over 15,000 acres, while catching glimpses of the beautiful strip from the top of the dunes.

How about a birds’ eye view of the majestic Grand Canyon? Helicopter tours leave from the west rim, south rim, and from the Las Vegas strip itself.

Depending on where you depart from, you can book tours for anywhere from 25 minutes to as much as 12 hours!

5. Adventures in Food

When all that sightseeing and touring slows down, where can you go for a special memory that also fills your belly?

With all that hot desert air, why not take a trip under the sea? At the Mermaid Restaurant & Lounge located in the Silverton casino, dine in front of a dazzling 117,000-gallon aquarium.

Enjoy your meal while watching not only over 4,000 varieties of tropical fish but mermaids as well!

Claiming an “only-in-Vegas” dining experience, Oscars Steakhouse is the place to be.  Named after former Las Vegas Mayor and mob attorney Oscar Goodman, Oscars is a slice right out of old Las Vegas.

6. High Roller Adventures

No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without that Vegas casino experience.

One exciting vacation spot is the ever-famous MGM Grand Hotel and Casino. The self-proclaimed “Entertainment Authority” the MGM Grand has almost everything one could hope for.

Catch a show, hit the pool, or try your luck in their casino. It’s truly what the Vegas experience is about.

Or you could dance the night away at LIGHT nightclub. Open floor plans and huge LED screens ensure all guests have the best view in the house.

Combining creativity with cutting-edge music, LIGHT promises a truly unforgettable nightlife experience.
